About
My name is Ashleigh Capitanio
I am a passionate speech pathologist with a deep commitment to helping children find their voice. With experience in both private practice and the NDIS space, I thrive on creating meaningful connections with my young clients and their families. I believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with families to develop tailored strategies that foster communication and overall growth.

I am grateful to work with such wonderful families in our community. Each family brings their own unique journey, and it’s inspiring to see their dedication to their children’s growth. Together, we celebrate milestones and foster a collaborative spirit that makes each session rewarding. I feel honored to be part of their lives as we work toward effective communication, creating a strong network of support that benefits us all.

As a mobile speech pathologist, I bring my therapy directly to the families I serve, creating a comfortable and familiar environment for my young clients. My car is more than just a vehicle; it’s a space where meaningful connections are made, and progress happens. I love the flexibility this role provides, allowing me to meet children where they are—whether at home, at kinder, or at school. This approach not only makes therapy more accessible but also helps to integrate communication skills into their everyday lives. It’s a rewarding experience to be on the road, making a positive impact in our community one session at a time.

Language development is important because it is language that introduces the child to the social world, to the formation of relationships and to the capacity to interact with others, and of course, to learn.
